AVID Ratings has released the winners of the 2010 AVID Awards for best customer experience in the home building industry. Desert View Homes, with headquarters in El Paso, TX, has been recognized with the 2010 AVID Award, Best Customer Experience 300+ Closings in the United States.
Now in its seventh year, the AVID Awards are the leading industry-sponsored awards honoring the best builders in the United States for delighting homeowners. According to survey respondents, 97.2 percent of Desert View Homes’ homebuyers are willing to recommend their builder to family and friends.
Desert View Homes’ top areas in customer experience are:
- At the Home Orientation Process, Home Was Clean & Ready
- # of Orientation Problems Corrected Prior to Move-In
- Perception of # of Orientation Items Listed
- Reasonable Cost of Upgrades
- Lender was Professional and Gave Timely Approval
All winners will be featured on AvidBuilder.com, an online, content-rich resource of housing news and information. The awards include: AVID Diamond Award, which recognizes the No. 1 builder in the United States; the AVID Award, which recognizes the top builder in the following categories: No. 1 builder with more than 300 closings, and No. 1 builder with 50 to 299, and No. 1 builder with less than 49 closings. Surveys were issued to 8,740 homebuyers throughout the United States to determine the top performing companies.
